About the Canadian Futures Trader

I’ve Surpassed $2.6 MILLION In Funding From Futures Trading Companies! I’ve passed all the companies I recommend, I’ve been paid by all of them, and I only endorse the companies on my website. Give them a try, become a funded futures trader also!

I’ve Passed The Following Funded Futures Trader Evaluations:

Yes, I still have most of these accounts active. So why all the evaluations? Good question. At some point it turned into just trying to get funded to wanting to pass them all for a sense of accomplishment, and so I could review every program from start to finish, including the funding process. I’m not planning on doing any other programs than the ones listed above at this point.

My Funded Futures Trader Journey

Thanks for visiting and joining in on my funded futures trader evaluation journey. Besides demonstrating what it is like to go through the funded futures trader companies, I also put up content about the passing process of funded trader companies, reviews of funded futures trading companies, videos of trading futures and well lots of futures trading related things. Explore the site, I’m continually adding to the reviews as well as adding blog posts. Of course the deals page might be of interest if you are considering a funded futures trading company, as several companies have been nice enough to allow me to pass on both one-time deals as well as ongoing deals.

I have an extensive background in business, both at the executive level and in consulting. I left the corporate and consulting worlds though about 2015 to pursue other business adventures. Basically I was bored of the corporate and consulting worlds. After starting a few businesses that are fairly self sufficient now, I finally found myself with the time to try out an interest I had really my whole life – Futures Trading.

After spending hours/days/weeks learning as much as I could (mainly on YouTube), at some point I realized that the futures markets are what appealed to me most. Somewhere in that journey I came across the various funded futures trader evaluation programs. In February 2020 I signed up for my first $50K evaluation with Topstep. A few months later I was introduced to Earn2Trade, and beyond that LeeLoo Trading and OneUp Trader.

After a few months I passed, and promptly busted my funded account. Off and on the remainder of 2020 I tried evaluations with the 4 evaluation companies I discuss on my YouTube channel – Topstep, Earn2Trade, LeeLoo Trading and OneUp Trader. I also continued to focus on learning and growing my knowledge and skill set. Needless to say, I went through the typical process of break a rule, try to learn from the mistakes, and do better next time. Sometimes I learned quick, some lessons took busting several evaluations before the lesson was learned.

I opened my own trading accounts at futures brokerages around September 2020. I wanted to trade my own capital and have that experience, since the trader evaluations sometimes felt more like a video game than real world. Not large size, but have the feeling of real money at risk.

Towards the end of 2020 when I started my YouTube channel is when I finally found my footing and began seeing success to the point of being funded again with Topstep and with OneUp Trader. That’s when I started creating more content since I wanted to help other traders starting out with information that it took me months to learn. Whether it’s the pros and cons of a specific funded trader evaluations, tips on how to pass funded trader evaluations, or other tips and tricks I can share, I hope my journey can help others be successful at trading as well.

As of 2025, I have passed and been funded with every single firm I have on my website. I didn’t keep my original Topstep account (blew it after a few days, it happens), fortunately I passed others later on. I still trade my other funded trader evaluation accounts, as well as my own brokerage accounts. As of 2025 I have over $2.9 million worth of funded trading accounts. Occasionally I will take on new futures trader evaluations both to add to my list of accomplishments, and to record and demonstrate what the various companies are like to be with from a normal futures trader like yourself.

Futures trading has quickly changed my life. It’s not easy, but it can be done. I created this website as a hobby originally, and to help other new futures traders. It quickly grew to having a totally free course (up in the menu), exclusive promos and discounts on funded futures trader programs, and hopefully inspiration to traders out there. I don’t sell anything. I don’t need your money, just giving back to the trading community.

The trading journey has only begun…

Risk Disclosure:

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:

Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.

In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
