My Funded Futures (MyFundedFutures) is a new, highly anticipated funded futures program. The sister company of My Funded FX, they are no strangers to the funding arena, and are making big inroads into the futures space.
Full review coming soon, they just launched on September 21st. For now you can visit My Funded Futures yourself and check them out!
CFT Exclusive: Use code CFTPROMO for an additional 5% off evaluations.
As soon as they launch look for a full review from yours truly, the Canadian Futures Trader. The pros, the cons, the comparisons to other companies, AND maybe an exclusive discount as well? If anyone will have one, it’ll be your friend the CFT!

The information below is current as of the launch of My Funded Futures. All of the companies have changes over time, so be sure always to consult My Funded Futures for the very latest information.
Summary of My Funded Futures Review
Coming Soon! I always like to try the companies first before writing a full review. Below is information about My Funded Futures and their program. I can already tell they are going to be a very popular option.
Evaluations Available and Pricing
You’ll see below that My Funded Futures has both a Starter and Expert option of the 3 account sizes. I encourage you to fully examine what is best for you. In general though, Starter accounts have a higher profit goal, but also no scaling. This means you can trade the full clip (total contracts) from day 1. Starter plans have the lower goals, but also you’ll have scaling in effect.
Another notable difference is that Starter accounts, while cheaper to start, also have an activation fee. Expert accounts do not. Chose what is best for you overall. Read more about My Funded Futures plans here.
Also worth mentioning, once funded the Starter accounts have capped maximum withdrawals for the first 60 days. The Expert plans have no cap (maximum). Again, read more on My Funded Futures in their faqs.
Account Size | Price/month* | Contracts | Goal | Drawdown |
$50K Starter | $100 | 5 | $3,000 | $2,000 |
$100K Starter | $200 | 10 | $6,000 | $3,000 |
$150K Starter | $300 | 15 | $9,000 | $4,500 |
$50K Expert | $165 | 5 | $4,000 | $2,000 |
$100K Expert | $265 | 10 | $8,000 | $3,000 |
$150K Expert | $375 | 15 | $12,000 | $4,500 |
Resets are $100. If you break a rule during the evaluation, you can reset your account and start fresh for $100, rather than cancel and resign up.
Software Available
Like pretty much all companies, your main selection will be Rithmic or CQG (Tradovate). There are pros and cons to each, and since NinjaTrader bought Tradovate there’s a lot of crossover. Some people like using the Tradovate software, others prefer a NinjaTrader with Rithmic connection. Usually if you are indifferent or unsure, companies recommend the CQG/Tradovate route. I myself also use CQG as my own personal data feed, but have never had a problem with Rithmic either.
On top of this, you can also use other third party software as you wish. For example I use Jigsaw Daytradr which I can connect to bother NinjaTrader/Rithmic or Tradovate/CQG.
Multiple Accounts
My Funded Futures states on their website you can have up to 10 accounts. As of now I’m not sure if that also includes funded accounts, or only evaluations (some companies make a distinction). I will update this section in the near future once I clarify.
Evaluation Rules
Below are the general rules. Be sure to read the specific rules on their site.
- Pass in just 1 trading day (no consistency rule)
- Don’t hit the End of Day drawdown amount
- Starter Accounts: Follow the Scaling Plan (info below)
Obviously if you are new to trading a lot of this might seem confusing. I recommend reading extensively over their Faqs and knowing what you are getting yourself into.
Scaling Plan for Starter Accounts (no scaling in Expert Accounts)
$50,000 | $100,000 | $150,000 | |
$ Profit Made: | Contracts: | Contracts: | Contracts: |
Below $1,500 | 2 | 3 | 3 |
$1,500 – $2,000 | 3 | 4 | 4 |
$2,000 – $3,000 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
$3,000 – $4,000 | 5 | 10 | 10 |
$4,001 and over | 5 | 10 | 15 |
Funded Account Rules
Here are the overall rules for the Funded Accounts. More info on the Withdrawal rules can be found in that section on this review. Overall, the Starter accounts have a scaling plan, Expert accounts do not. In both cases, your End of Day drawdown stops at your initial balance + $100. For example, if you had a $50K account, the most your End of Day drawdown balance would be is $50,100, regardless of how much profit you make up and beyond that.
Starter Accounts:
- End of Day drawdown stops at Initial Balance +$100
- Scaling rules apply to funded also. See Evaluation rules for the Scaling Plan
- No more than 40% of your profits can come from 1 trading day
Expert Accounts:
- End of Day drawdown stops at Initial Balance +$100
- No scaling rules
- No consistency rules
Funded Account Fees
The Starter Accounts do have an activation fee of $149 per account (same for all evaluation sizes). The Expert accounts have no activation fee. Keep this in mind when selecting your account, while the Starter accounts have a lower price to sign up, when you pass you’ll pay an activation fee.
Funded Account Withdraw Frequency & Methods
Payout Amount:
The first $10,000 earned is 100% the traders. Thereafter the profit split is 90% to the trader.
Starter Accounts:
- First 60 days – No withdraw amount can exceed the max drawdown of your account
- For example, a $50K account has a $2,000 max drawdown, so every withdraw can not exceed $2,000 for 60 days.
- After 60 days, you are eligible for uncapped payouts.
Expert Accounts:
- No maximum withdrawal amounts and no restrictions
- Withdraw from Day 1 of being funded
Both Starter and Expert Accounts:
- Withdrawals are every 14 calendar days

Risk Disclosure:
Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
