Introduction
I’ve been asked before about offering futures trading coaching or a futures trading course. Most of the people selling courses and information in the futures trading market are just selling you basic information you could get for free if you looked around. They are selling a dream to you, not selling quality educational information on learning to trade futures.
I don’t ever want to be put in the same category as these people. I learned everything for free by doing research, primarily on YouTube. Yes, I had to sift through a lot of junk information. Since I like to help out prospective futures traders as much as I can, below is what I have put together as a free futures trading course, if you want to call it that. It’s everything I have to share with someone who asks “how do I get started in futures trading?”, “how do you trade the bonds?”, “where do I start in futures trading?”. I get asked daily, and what you are about to read is 100% of everything I can tell you.
It is more an explanation of various set ups and execution plans I look for myself. Sprinkled in is a bit of general futures trading information, capital management, and mindset. Be warned, I focus on the US Treasury Market aka bonds. Ultra Bond, 30 Year Treasury Bond, 10 Year Treasury Note (UB, ZB & ZN) are my primary instruments I trade. You won’t find flashy cars, promises of lavish vacations, nor any dreams sold of getting rich trading from your laptop on the beach. It’s not the real world.
I’m just sharing what I’ve learned, futures trading strategies I’ve developed for myself, and what has worked for me. Consider this my playbook. I’m sure several of you will disagree with some of the content, and that’s okay. But it’s what I do, it works for me, and I’m happy to share it. It’s everything I wish someone had given to me when I was first starting.
And while there is a full set of disclosures at the bottom, a reminder that futures trading is risky. You could lose all your money. There’s no promises of lambos and mansions here. Read the Risk Disclosure if you’d like to learn more about all the reasons most people fail.

Risk Disclosure:
Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.
In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
