The EIA(Energy Information Administration) publishes a weekly report on the total Crude Oil stockpiles in all US storage facilities. This is a very strong market mover and can have a significant impact on crude oil prices at any moment.
The EIA receives data from the operators of the 91 oil storage and trading facilities located in the USA. These figures represent operational storage capacity only. The data encompasses all storage capacity, including working and non-working inventory.
The EIA publishes only the total level at the end of each week and does not provide detailed weekly data on individual facilities.
The Crude Oil Inventories report comes out every Thursday around 12:30 GMT time and is usually a very strong market mover, so be aware of this report and take trading opportunities on it.

This is one of the most important data that is published by the EIA. It gives a detailed insight into different regions and their inventory levels. The stocks levels for West Coast, Cushing(Oklahoma), GOM, East Coast, and PADD II are also published separately. The inventory levels are tracked on weekly basis.
Crude Oil Inventories levels in Cushing, Oklahoma storage facilities
Cushing is the largest oil hub located in Oklahoma with the capacity to store more than 27 million barrels of crude. The inventory levels at Cushing have a significant impact on Crude Oil prices all over the world. So it is also known as Cushing Stock Report.
The inventory levels in Cushing are tracked on a weekly basis and publishing of the report is not mandatory. As a result, sometimes the inventories levels at Cushing facilities are not available in the reports. In this case, data from the previous week reflects the storage level at Cushing for that week.
Crude Oil Price at Cushing, Oklahoma
It is used as a benchmark price for oil produced in USA and Canada. The Cushing stock prices are tracked on monthly basis with the highest/lowest prices also mentioned in the reports along with the average prices. Also published are different commodity indexes including WTI-Cushing, WTI-Midland, etc.
Crude Oil Inventories levels in all trading hubs
Along with the inventory levels at Cushing, the EIA also publishes inventory levels for each oil trading hub separately. For instance, it provides storage capacity and inventories levels for Midland(Texas), PADD II(Gulf Coast), and PADD II. These inventories levels are tracked on a weekly basis as well.

Along with the above-mentioned reports, the EIA also provides other valuable information related to the oil trading hubs including updates about energy infrastructures and their capacity utilization for the week.
Crude Oil Inventories levels at West Coast terminals
The EIA publishes inventory levels for the West coast that includes California, Oregon & Washington terminal facilities having working inventories of 5 million barrels or more. This data is tracked on a monthly basis with the highest/lowest storage level for each facility also provided.
Daily Crude Oil Inventories levels at Cushing
The EIA provides daily inventory levels at Cushing along with the highest/lowest prices for the current day. It is one of the most important data among all reports published by the EIA. Also, it is tracked on a daily basis with the highest/lowest prices mentioned separately.
Weekly Crude Oil Production, Imports & Consumption
The EIA provides complete information on weekly crude oil production by region along with the import and consumption levels of various types of oil including heating oil, kerosene-type jet fuel, etc. The data is published on a weekly basis.
Weekly Crude Oil Inventories at Cushing
Along with the inventory levels at Cushing, EIA also publishes weekly data on different types of oil including heating oil and kerosene-type jet fuel inventories maintained in Cushing. Also published are maximum/minimum storage levels for each type of oil.

Along with the inventory levels and weekly production and import updates, EIA also provides complete information on crude oil refinery inputs/outputs including imports and exports in different regions of the USA. This report is published on a weekly basis along with the highest/lowest prices for the week.
Weekly Petroleum Status Report
This report is published on a weekly basis and includes information related to refinery capacity, crude oil production by region, imports of various types of oil, etc. The data is tracked on a weekly basis including the highest/lowest storage levels for each facility.
Motor Gasoline Blendstock Retail Prices
Along with the retail gasoline prices (87 octane or higher) for the US, EIA also provides data on different types of special blends like oxygenated gas, reformulated gas, etc. The retail price data is provided separately for major cities in the USA along with their respective regions.
Motor Gasoline Inventories
Data on gasoline inventories at major storage facilities are given by EIA. The data is provided separately for Cushing and each region along with the highest/lowest price for a month.
Natural Gas Inventories at Major Storage Terminals
Along with regular updates on natural gas production, consumption, imports, etc., EIA also provides regular updates on natural gas inventories at various major storage terminals in the USA. The data is tracked on a weekly basis along with the highest/lowest levels for each storage location.
Natural Gas Inventories, Weekly Production & Imports Report
Along with the inventory levels and weekly production figures, EIA also provides regular updates on natural gas imports and exports levels in the USA. The data is reported on a weekly basis including the highest/lowest storage levels for a month or a quarter.
Natural Gas Utilization for Power Generation
This report from EIA gives an insight into power generation from different types of gas including dry shale gas, coal-bed methane, etc. The data is provided on a monthly basis along with the highest/lowest consumption levels for different regions.
