My Funded Futures launched in September 2023, below is my review of My Funded Futures. Originally a Forex trading firm, they leveraged their knowledge of the trading markets to open a futures trading company as well.
They do run sales often and they change each month. I keep a current list of deals and sales on my Funded Trader Evaluation Deals Page. You will find My Funded Futures coupons and My Funded Futures promos there if they are running any.
I know which funded futures companies are great, whose good, whose not good, and whose a scam. To see who I do recommend, visit my Deals and Discounts page, as well as my Reviews of Funded Futures Programs.
My Funded Futures review has been a popular request from people who wanted to know what I thought of the My Funded Futures funded trader evaluation program. MFF is a funded futures program which is looking to stand out from the competition with no activation fees and a choice of style of account, Starter or Expert (more on those below).
Summary of My My Funded Futures Review
My Funded Futures has quickly brought a world of forex traders to the futures world. The big stand outs of My Funded Futures is the pass in 1 day feature, and no activation fees. They have quickly become a favorite of traders and have proven they are very reputable over the first several months in operation. With many traders passing, becoming funded and most important being paid out, My Funded Futures is a great option for futures traders.
You can read more below about what I like and dislike about My Funded Futures.
Evaluations Available and Pricing
My Funded Futures has 6 accounts – 3 are “Expert” and 3 are “Starter”. Expert & Starter basically dictates the rules of the accounts, as well as fees.
In general – Starter accounts are cheaper up front, but will have an activation fee when you pass which makes them ultimately more expensive. As well they will have a scaling plan associated with them. Expert accounts are more expensive to buy, but have $0 activation fees and no scaling rules.
Below is the current list:
Account Size | Price/month | Contracts | Goal | EOD Drawdown | Activation Fee | Scaling? |
$50K Starter | $80 | 3 | $3,000 | $2,500 | $0 | Yes |
$100K Starter | $150 | 6 | $6,000 | $3,500 | $0 | Yes |
$150K Starter | $220 | 15 | $9,000 | $5,000 | $0 | Yes |
$50K Expert | $165 | 5 | $4,000 | $2,000 | $0 | No |
$100K Expert | $265 | 10 | $8,000 | $3,000 | $0 | No |
$150K Expert | $375 | 15 | $12,000 | $4,500 | $0 | No |
Software Available
When you sign up with My Funded Futures you will connect via Tradovate or NinjaTrader, whichever is your preference. Tradovate offers huge benefits to traders as it is simple to use and learn, a nice user interface and most important is web based. It can be used on PC or Mac, mobile phone, tablet, etc. There is both a Tradovate native app, or you can use it in a web browser.
In 2024, MFFU introduced dxFeed, along with several free trading platforms to go along with it. The feed has been stable and a great choice for traders. Note they also got rid of Rithmic.
You can of course use your own software as well. I’m a fan of Jigsaw Daytradr, so I connect Jigsaw to my My Funded Futures connection and trade within it with Tradovate open as well as a backup.
As well once funded, you can continue to use Tradovate for free!
Multiple Accounts Allowed – 3 Sim Live and 1 Full Live Max
You’re allowed to have up to 4 passed accounts. 1 full live account (you’ll be invited to this if you perform well in sim live), and 3 Sim Live accounts. Both are eligible for payouts. For evaluations I’m unsure how many is the maximum, and there may well be no limit. Just know that out of all your evaluation accounts, you’ll be held to the above rules of 3 simlive and 1 full live ultimately once you pass.
Evaluation Rules and Details
Below are the general rules and some details. Be sure to read the specific rules on their site.
- 1 Step Evaluation
- Pass in just 1 day (effectively no minimum trading days needed)
- Drawdown stops at the initial balance +$100
- Drawdown is calculated at the end of day, not in between trades. Big benefit to traders.
Obviously if you are new to trading a lot of this might seem confusing. I recommend reading extensively over their Faqs and knowing what you are getting yourself into.
Funded Account Rules
The general rules will be the same as the evaluation. Based on whether you chose Starter or Expert will dictate the rules on the livesim and live accounts. Be sure to always read their rules of course in the knowlege base.
Funded Account Fees
My Funded Futures doesn’t have an activation fee once you pass. You can add on Level 2 Data for $39 per month which. If you are a chart trader, you pretty much don’t need this. If you use a depth of market like myself, you absolutely need this.
In Sept 2024 they also introduced the ability to reset your Sim Funded Starter account. If you passed the Starter evaluation, made it to funded and blow that account, rather than go back to the evaluation, you can reset your Starter.
Funded Account Withdraw Frequency & Methods
My Funded Futures offers the ability to withdraw once per week for Starter accounts, every 14 calendar days for Expert plans. No minimum profit goal is needed to withdraw, but there is a 40% consistency rule (whatever your profits are, more than 40% can’t come from one single day). Depending on whether you are in a Starter or Expert account there may be rules about consistency needed and buffer zones. I encourage you to read their FAQs to clarify.
Pros of My Funded Futures
- No activation fee
- Choice of account style that works best for you (Expert or Starter)
- Withdraw from day 3 and as often as you want – no waiting or catches
- Drawdown updated at End of Day, not after every trade
Cons of My Funded Futures
- Discounts not as large as other firms
- Withdrawals every 14 days on Expert (Starter once per week)

Risk Disclosure:
Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.
In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
