October 2024 Update: I’ve decided to no longer work with several firms as there are industry regulations coming and I don’t believe several firms will meet the criteria, including this one. I am leaving this article up but all links to to companies I no longer represent will forward back to my main Deals and Promos Page.
You can find more information here: Regulations Are Coming – October 2024 and also find my list of recommended companies that will be compliant.
TickTick Trader allows you the ability to reset your trader evaluation account if you break a rule during the evaluation. This is fairly common among trader evaluations. Learn more about the specifics.
TickTick Trader is looking to build long term relationships with futures traders, and I highly recommend them.

TickTick Trader Evaluation Resets
It happens to everyone, believe me I’ve had to reset my fair share of futures trader evaluations in my first year. If you have violated any of the rules with TickTick Trader it’s no big deal, you have the option to reset your account balance by paying up a flat reset fee.
Once you finalize the purchase, the reset will be processed immediately, and you will get notified by email. You can be back to trading within minutes.
The reset only updates the initial balance so that the trader can continue to trade on the account to which he is subscribed. All previous results will not be counted. Also, the minimum required 10 trading days will be reset as well.
However, resetting your account does not reset the expiration date of the challenge account subscription. The subscription is automatically renewed every 30 days unless you cancel it yourself.
My advice is if you have less than 10 trading days left until your subscription renews, you are best off canceling your account and signing up again. Unless you signed up under an amazing deal and the math doesn’t make sense, often times it’s best to do this. Otherwise, even by resetting you won’t be able to complete the evaluation before a rebill happens.
TickTick Trader Evaluation Reset Fee
The reset fee is set to $85 at TickTick Trader.
How to reset:
1. Log in to your account and go to your dashboard.
2. Under you subscription, you will see the link to reset
3. Follow the steps to pay for the reset.
Within a few minutes your account will be restored to a fresh start. You may (not always) need to log out or Rithmic and back in to see this.

Risk Disclosure:
Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.
In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
