TickTick Trader Maximum Position Size

ticktick trader discount

TickTick Trader has rules around the maximum amount of contracts you can have open at any point. Note that as of January 2024, there is no longer a scaling plan once funded. You can trade your full allotment of contracts in both the evaluation and once funded!

TickTick Trader is looking to build long term relationships with futures traders, and I highly recommend them.

TickTick Trader Maximum Position Size

The maximum number of contracts you may trade at any time, or the maximum position size, is predetermined on your account with TickTick Trader according to your chosen Evaluation Program. If your maximum position size allows you 14 contracts, for example, that means you may trade up to 14 contracts in any of the available markets. You will need to be aware of the contract limit on your chosen program and ensure you do not surpass it, as this will be in violation of our trading rules.

Note that once you close a position you can then reopen a new one up to the maximum. You aren’t “using up” contracts, the amount is just a maximum at any given point.

Mini Contract Maximums

TickTick Trader’s programs allow the following numbers of contracts to be traded at one time:

  • Maximum 4 contracts allowed on the 25k Program
  • Maximum 10 contracts allowed on the 50k Program
  • Maximum 14 contracts allowed on the 100k Program
  • Maximum 17 contracts allowed on the 150k Program
  • Maximum 27 contracts allowed on the 250k Program

Micro Contracts

The following number of Micros E-Mini contracts are also included in each Program:

  • Maximum 40 contracts allowed on the 25k Program
  • Maximum 100 contracts allowed on the 50k Program
  • Maximum 140 contracts allowed on the 100k Program
  • Maximum 170 contracts allowed on the 150k Program
  • Maximum 270 contracts allowed on the 250k Program

Please note that 10 Micros E-Mini contracts are the same as 1 E-Mini contract.

Commissions On Trades

TickTick Trader’s commission on each contract is $5.

Risk Disclosure:

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:

Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
