My Funded Futures Alternatives – Better Rules & Lower Prices

Below are my Top 4 alternatives to My Funded Futures. You can find all my recommended companies on my Deals and Promos page where you’ll find exclusive discount codes and sales brought to you by me, CFT!

Let’s face it, while My Funded Futures is the original futures prop firm, they’ve had highs and lows for sure, and can be frustrating for new traders for several reasons. For example My Funded Futures changes their programs every 3 months, constantly manipulating traders into thinking they are getting a better product, when in reality they are taking away the better programs and adding small changes that are NOT favorable to the trader.

Example of My Funded Futures Manipulation

The new Builder Plan (July 2026, it’ll probably be gone by September honestly based on how they operate). Marketed as a great, low cost plan for newer traders. What they don’t tell you up front is while normally you can have 5 funded accounts, not with the Builder, oh no. You can take a bunch of evals, but you will only ever have 1, ONE, funded builder plan.

As well with My Funded Futures while you can pass their evaluations with the full contracts available, you are forced into scaling when funded typically. It depends again on the plan, which changes often, so be sure to check those funded rules.

As well My Funded Futures has been known to move traders from the sim funded stage to fully funded quickly, where you are throttled even more with your trading. This has been a problem with several firms prematurely moving traders to live so the firm (My Funded Futures) doesn’t have to pay out in Sim. Instead they throttle you, lock up profits made in sim, and essentially screw the trader.

When it comes to sales, don’t expect any at My Funded Futures. You’ll never see a 70%, let alone 80% to 90% sale. At best you MIGHT get 50% off. As well another manipulation, when they promote 50% off usually that is ONLY if you are new to My Funded Futures. If you’ve traded with them in the past, congrats you are only getting 20% off instead.

Luckily, you have several great choices that are better than My Funded Futures, and I trade with each and every one of them.

What makes the firms below better? In general:

  • Lower evaluation costs with sales up to 90% off
  • Resets are available at other firms (MFF doesn’t do resets either, forcing you to buy a new account)
  • Less rules on your trading
  • Multiple accounts – up to 20 at some firms
Apex Trader Funding – code: CFTPROMO – up to 90% off
apex trader funding futures prop firm day trading rules review discount promo code coupon
DayTraders – code: CFT – up to 90% off

TradeDay – Up to 55% off, for professional minded traders

I encourage you to check out my Deals and Discounts Page for all the companies I endorse currently. Of course my long term #1 firm has always been Apex Trader Funding, and code CFTPROMO always gets you the best discount, up to 90% off!

As you can tell there are other great options to My Funded Futures and their horrible rules and manipulative marketing.

Risk Disclosure:

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:

Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight.

In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
